Hair loss is a common problem that people suffer from across the world. It is very common for people to find strands of hair on their towel, pillow, comb, and even sinkhole. Women, particularly, notice it earlier because they generally have longer hair. On the other hand, men only come to realize it when they notice substantial decrease in density of hair, or they are told by their barbers about hair falling off the crown area. Hair loss can be associated with a lot of factors. It can be genetic, environment-induced, or diet-induced. Some people go bald because baldness runs in their family. Others who get exposed to severe environmental conditions on a daily basis, like heat, dust, pollution, chemicals, etc., tend to experience hair fall. There is another category which consists of people who suffer hair loss because of their poor diet.

These dead cells give you the personality you have. Only few people on earth look good bald, and that too, only men. Women generally don't go bald, either by choice or due to diseases. Hair loss can be classified into different categories; male-pattern baldness, female-pattern baldness, etc. Hair loss, if left untreated, generally, leads to baldness, i.e., alopecia.

Hair loss is treatable. It can be treated either with help of medicines or by improving diet. There are medicines available in the market which reduce and treat problems like hair fall, alopecia, split ends, etc. Also, taking vitamin-rich diet can result in reduction of hair fall. There are different foods with essential vitamins that help in hair growth and prevent hair fall. Problem lies in the fact that most of the times your diet is not able to compensate the amount of vitamins, minerals, and other substances required by the body for proper functioning. In such a case, a person has to resort to supplements. Different foods have different quantities of different vitamins and minerals; few of the vitamins or minerals that help hair growth and prevent hair fall can be less in your diet. Therefore, it becomes very essential to take a diet which can fulfill the need of vitamins and minerals required for healthy growth of hair and treat hair-related problems. Just to list, vitamins B3, B5, and B6 enhance hair growth. On the other hand, vitamin B12 increases energy in the hair root and vitamin C improves circulation of blood in the scalp. Vitamin E increases intake of oxygen and expands fullness in scalp, zinc stimulates hair growth and fights different bacteria. In addition to all this, iron provides basic health and strength to hair and folic acid prevents hair loss.

A diet rich with all these aforementioned nutrients can be taken to have healthy hair growth and prevent hair fall. These can also be taken in supplemental forms, which are available as products in the market. Hence, to have healthy hair and prevent hair loss, it is very essential to have diet rich with different vitamins, minerals, and nutrients.
